Brand Architecture Proposal

KEYS

A unified brand system for everything Lin Lu has built. One word. Four letters. Says everything: Access.

One name doing five jobs

ENJOYKEYS does 5 different things under 1 name. The audience for each is completely different. The result: confusion.

  1. 1Event delegations (CES, Boao, APEC)
  2. 2Co-working + co-living spaces (Nantou, Shanghai, HK, Xiamen)
  3. 3Government program navigation for foreign founders
  4. 4Hotel & apartment management
  5. 5Community for international builders in China
ENJOYKEYS already has strong brand recognition in China. The opportunity: make it equally clear for international founders what KEYS can do for them. Right now, a founder in Berlin might not immediately see "This is how I get into China." We can fix that.

KEYS as Master Brand

Your keys to China. Literally -- you get keys to your space. Metaphorically -- access to the ecosystem, the government, the network. One word that holds everything together.

Co-work + Co-live

Why this works

"Keys" is already your brand

You don't need to build new brand equity. Just sharpen what you have.

Each sub-brand has a clear audience

No confusion. A nomad lands on Keys Base. A startup founder doing due diligence lands on Keys Gov. An event organizer lands on Keys Events.

Cross-selling is built in

Someone finds Keys Gov, qualifies for the Peacock Plan, needs a place to stay -- Keys Base. Someone at Keys Base wants to set up a company -- Keys Gov.

"Get your keys" is the CTA

Works for every sub-brand. Memorable. Actionable. Not "Enjoy" (passive) but "Get" (active).

The Dezeen-shortlisted Nantou building becomes the flagship

Not buried on a Chinese WeChat mini-app. Front and center. International architects and design press already wrote about it. Use that.

Keys Base

Your base in China. From 799 RMB/month (~$110).

A single page that shows all 4 city locations with real photography. The Nantou Hybrid Building gets its own deep dive -- Dezeen, URBANUS, architecture. A pricing comparison proves you are 3-5x cheaper than WeWork, Bali, or London.

Built-in cross-sell to Keys Gov and a logistics section covering visa, VPN, payments, and language basics.

What the page covers

  • All 4 city locations with real photography
  • Nantou Hybrid Building deep dive (Dezeen, URBANUS)
  • Pricing comparison vs. WeWork, Bali, London
  • MiraclePlus / muShanghai network angle
  • Keys Gov teaser (cross-sell)
  • Logistics: visa, VPN, payments, language

What we need from you

  • Interior workspace photos (people-at-desks shots)
  • Real testimonials from international guests
  • Confirmation on pricing (799 / 2,999 RMB still accurate?)
  • WeChat QR code for the CTA

Keys Gov

China will pay you to build there. 30+ programs, 8 cities, 60-second matching.

An interactive quiz -- 6 questions, personalized program recommendations. Peacock Plan (RMB 3M), Hainan FTP (15% tax), K Visa, Nanshan AI Contest. Every recommendation ends with "Talk to KEYS."

Mascot Proposal

Coco the Red Panda

Preserves the original co-working + co-living shorthand. Native to China. Less cliche than the giant panda. And the orange-red fur matches the brand palette perfectly.

Authentically Chinese

Native to Sichuan. Not imported, not generic. The red panda is China without being the cliche.

Small but mighty

Represents the builder spirit. Indie founders, not corporations. Resourceful, independent, sharp.

Brand-native color

Orange-red fur matches the terracotta palette. No forcing a mascot into a color system -- it belongs.

Website + Social

Appears on Keys Base, social media, and brand collateral as a consistent character.

WeChat Stickers

Sticker pack for community engagement. Huge in China. Drives organic sharing.

AI Chatbot

"Ask Coco" for space availability, visa questions, program matching. Personality-driven UX.

Alternatives Considered

Capybara -- Trending in China, social animal, but no China connection.
Giant Panda -- Too cliche. Every China brand uses it.
Coconut character -- Direct name tie, but no soul.

Design System

A cohesive palette and type system designed to feel premium without feeling corporate. Warm, architectural, editorial.

Colors

Terracotta #C4613A
Sage #6B8F71
Off-White #FAF8F4
Warm Black #1A1816

Typography

DM Serif Display
Headlines, brand moments
DM Sans Regular
Body text, UI, navigation

Design Direction

In short: Clean editorial design with warm, natural tones. Copy that reads like a conversation, not a brochure.

Writing style: Direct, confident, no fluff. Short sentences that land. Like a smart friend explaining something, not a marketing deck selling something.

Design style: Warm minimalism. Dark backgrounds, natural tones (terracotta, sage, warm white). Feels like walking into a beautifully designed co-living space — not a corporate office, not a startup pitch deck.

Next Steps

What we need to move from prototype to production.

  1. Your feedback on the brand architecture -- does Keys / Keys Base / Keys Gov resonate?
  2. Interior photos of actual workspace areas across all locations
  3. Real testimonials from international guests who have stayed or used the services
  4. A call or in-person session to validate the government programs data
  5. Domain decision: keys-base.com or keep it under enjoykeys.com/base?

What I Built

All built in 48 hours. No cost. Because I believe this is the right play.
